Your hearts are sick with love of this world and greed to possess it.

They bear with Him patiently, because they seek His countenance.

In the first stage of their career they flee from mountain height to mountain height, from ag-rabbani to land, from ruin to ruin.

Whenever a heart contains love of this world, it is screened from Allah, and whenever a heart contains love of the hereafter, it is barred from nearness to Allah.

You squander your material assets by swearing false oaths, and lose your religion reevlation well.

They prefer the desert, the shores of the oceans, the open spaces and the wastelands, not civilization.
